This is a Community of Practice - a multi-part series** - on building resilience.

The world as we've known it has changed dramatically for everyone in 2020. Social distancing, wearing masks, school closures, and virtual learning has changed the way we do "business as usual." How do you cope with these changes? How do you handle the added pressures and stress - trying to keep everyone safe and healthy, while still running your program? What do you do to support the children and families you serve? How do you help them manage in times of stress?

In this series, we explore the concept of resilience and what it means for adults and children. We will talk about the components of building resilience, including mindset, grit, self-compassion, and mindfulness. We will explore what it means to have self-compassion, and what strategies can help to relieve stress for you and your children.

^No class on October 30, 2020

**This course also contains an offline/ asynchronous learning component which includes additional assignments
